This J.Lo fan loved 'Gigli'
By Craig L. Marshall Jr.

I love Jennifer Lopez. I love her music. I love her clothes. I love her hair. I love her nose. I love her outfits. I'd love to be like J. Lo. Anyone who says negative things about her should be taken out behind the barn and thunked over the head with a bucket.
I just watched "Gigli" and, I was NOT disappointed.
I'm glad to say J. Lo, your movie is wonderful.. In fact, while others walked out, I stayed through all of it.When you and your real-life hunk-of-a-fiancé, Ben Affleck, started talking about each other's body parts in slang terms and Ben cut off a corpse's thumb with a plastic knife I was in movie heaven.

The critics have been rough on this movie, and the public must be taking it to heart: There were only 3 devoted Jen and Ben fans in the theater when I watched it. But this movie is great from the beginning, J.Lo. When Affleck first appeared on screen, I thought, "Oh, what a handsome man. J.Lo is lucky." Within three seconds he was using the F-word, both as an adjective and an adverb. Wow, that was cool.
J.Lo, it takes about 10 minutes for you to appear in the movie. You have a cute outfit, complete with perfect, highlighted hair and long, fake eyelashes. Awesome! As usual, you're gorgeous to the max.

.
Then you, too, cut loose with the F-word. Sure, "Gigli" is rated R. But did we need to hear the obscene word 35 times in 30 minutes?
Hell yes, we did! You're even gorgeous when you cuss, J-Lo! I hope you cuss in everything you do from now on.
In the movie, you play Ricki, a hard-nosed, lesbian hired killer who can pop out an eye with her index finger within seconds. Ricki teams up with Larry Gigli (the last name rhymes with "weasle-ly") to kidnap a young, mentally disabled boy and try to pull off a Mafia-inspired heist.
That's the whole story and what a great story it is. Really. Almost as good as Maid in Manhattan (which I loved, too)

The plot is great. The acting is superb. I'm happy to say, Jenny, that I loved your movie..
Hopefully, you'll pull off another great role next time. You are a wonderful actress.
I love my Jenny from the Gigli block.

  Have J.Lo And Affleck Split?

read on and find out!
August 5, 2003

Actress, dancer and celebrity Jennifer Lopez is stridently denying published reports she has torn her gorgeous engagement ring from her finger and split from handsome hunk, fiance Ben Affleck following unconfirmed allegations he spent a wild and crazy night out partying with strippers and the like. Lopez has quickly moved to smash the story following reports she arrived in Los Angeles and declared she was very much a single woman last Thursday night, the night before their wonderful cinematic collaboration "Gigli" hit movie theaters around the globe.

Meanwhile, handsome hunk Affleck pulled quickly out of a pre-planned interview with Entertainment Tonight correspondent Chris Booker - the proud boyfriend of Lopez's sister - claiming he was "too awfully sick" to attend. The actor has also refused to take a standard lie detector test as demanded by the Enquirer, who maintain their article - which Affleck's spokesman described as "mindless, senseless and total garbage" - is entirely accurate, and supported by documentary evidence of the highest order.

A STORY ABOUT THE RING,
" Pink Diamond "

Jennifer Lopez Describes Ben Affleck’s ‘Beautiful’ Proposal

When Jennifer Lopez went to visit her hunk Ben Affleck's close family in Boston, he dutifully promised J-Lo it would be a relaxed, jovial occasion, with a messy house and maybe some pizza or take-out Chinese food...or maybe some buffalo wings or something.

On their way there to the family house, he was really, really nervous, although the talented and dazzling singer-actress J-Lo, whose romance with the very handsome leading man has been public since the summer, didn't suspect anything at all. But when the hot movie couple got to the house and handsome Affleck opened the door, she had a big, big surprise. "It's just a blanket, a quilt of wonderful rose petals, all over the whole entire house," she remembers. "So many sweet-smelling candles, and crystal vases, flower bouquets and such. And my popular hit song 'Glad' was playing on the stereo... I walk in and I was just like, ya know...overwhelmed. I really, really wasn't expecting it, and I was just like 'Oh, oh, oh my God.'"

Then of course, she asked who had done it all, and handsome Affleck told her, "My dear mom helped me do it." Then, says Lopez, "I just started sobbing like a real jerk. Crying. I was like 'Oh! My God! Oh! My God! Oh! Oh, Oh Oh My God!"

As a healthy ocean of tears streamed down her lovely cheek, handsome Ben Affleck read a letter he had written with a pen saying all the reasons he loved her and wanted to marry her. "I had cried a whole bunch over sadness over the years. And for the first time in my young successful life, I cried incredible purging wet, wet tears of happiness and joy and pleasure," Lopez told Primetime's inquisitive hostess Diane Sawyer. "It was the most cleansing feeling and the most absolutely wonderful feeling I had ever had in my whole, wonderful life."

When Affleck got to the end of the letter, Affleck asked the pertinent question,"Will you marry me, my sweetest Jennifer?" But he had the ring out at that point, and Jen couldn't help noticing that it was indeed pink — a pink diamond, her favorite gem, a pink diamond. "I was just like 'Oh God, Oh God Jesus, Oh, Sweet Lord Jeeesus...it can't be pink on top of it.' That was just too much for me to handle," she said. As she was going super-gaga over the ring, admiring its magnificence and many facets, he reminded her, "You haven't answered me. Jennifer...what the dickens is wrong?"

Then, Lopez says she gave him the exact, answer he knew was coming: "I was like, 'Oh! Yeah! Yeah! Yes! Oh darling Ben YES!!"

The two then (Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck) sat down and had a quiet evening, eating the yummy roast chicken, green beans and mashed potatoes Affleck's mother and her boyfriend, a chef and Ben's sister (not a chef), had left for them.
